    seems fandezhi system is no longer available.. any other ??

    • Hi Archinline,
      The Dezhi mainframe and online user support website are up and running now. Some times the website will be down due to high traffic, so if you are not able to access it, wait for some time and do try to create the Id again.

    There is no separate option to get on to ispf.just we could log on to tso segment.Initially it worked fie for two times,then it leaves this message and gets closed off.Please help.Thanks in advance.

    • Sam,
      Can you be more specific on you question like the issue you are facing with the message you are getting. I just used efglobe mainframe and I was not getting any issues. I just had to press enter few times till I get into ispf.

    i WANT TO COMPILE MY COBOL PROGRAM FANDEZHI SYSTEM…Can any one provide the suitable jcl for this particular FANDEZHI system….i tried the usual IGYWCL procedure..but that seems to be not available here…

    • Hi rajaopalan,
      You could see the available procs in the PDS: SYSFAN.PROCLIB. If you are specifically looking for the JCL to compile cobol codes then you can use the below JCL (Dont forget to replace your user ID, your source and load libraries. The Load Lib record format should be “U”. In the below JCL hllwrld is just a sample program name you could replace it with your program name.

      //USERIDJ JOB ‘SHIBU THANNIKKUNNATH’,CLASS=A,NOTIFY=&SYSUID
      //JS0010 EXEC IGYWCLG
      //COBOL.SYSIN DD DISP=SHR,DSN=YOUR.COBOL.SRC(HLLWRLD)
      //LKED.SYSLIN DD DISP=SHR,DSN=YOUR.LOAD.LIB(HLLWRLD)
      //LKED.SYSLMOD DD DISP=SHR,DSN=YOUR.LOAD.LIB(HLLWRLD)

      Let me know if you are facing any other issues.
      Cheers

        Thank you Shibu…i was searching for sys1.proclib or zos.proclib…i never knew about sysfan.proclib…
        another doubt I have…when we write exec proc=igywclg , where exactly is the default search path is mentioned..how does the system know it has to search sysfan.proclib

      • Hi Rajagopalan,

        Glad it helped, The default procedure lib is the part of zOS customization. you can also see the Proc lib under the High level Qualifier where the product is installed. e.g IGYWCL can be found under IGY330.SIGYPROC

    I had an account on FanDeZhi but I was apparently banned, now I’m trying to go on zos.efglobe.com but it seems the website is down. Is it down for you as well?

    Thank You.
